Model	Description
MX-5050-FL	One-channel full-track record and reproduce with half-track reproduce capability for two channel playback. 600 ohm balanced output. Hysteresis capstan motor. Wood cabinet mounting standard.
MX-5050-2SH and MX-5050-2SL	Half-track two channel. High speed (H) 15 and 7½ ips, or low speed (L) 7½ and 3¾ ips. Four heads: three ½ track (erase, record, reproduce), one ¼ track (reproduce), 600 ohm balanced output. Hysteresis synchronous capstan motor. Wood cabinet mounting standard.
MX-5050-2SHD	Half-track two channel as above, with dc capstan servo instead of hysteresis synchronous motor.
